Every eligible child attending public school in Nova Scotia is automatically covered by the School Insurance Program's Basic Student Accident Insurance. Over the years there has been need by some families to purchase the Gold Plan option, which extends most benefits of our Basic Plan to include all activities . . . 24/7, even holidays and summer vacations.

2. Loss of both hands $20,000
3. Quadriplegia $40,000
4. Paraplegia $40,000
5. Loss of hearing in both ears $10,000

Gold Plan (24/7 sample limits)

1. Loss of life $20,000
2. Loss of both hands $60,000
3. Quadriplegia $120,000
4. Paraplegia $120,000
5. Loss of hearing in both ears $30,000

The Gold Plan may be of particular interest to the sports minded and is recommended by the Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation.
